Thank you for shopping with Aochips Pty Ltd. We are committed to providing high-quality IT hardware and accessories and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before submitting a request.
30-Day Return Policy
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
Items must be in their original condition — unopened, unused, with original packaging and all tags intact.
A valid proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is required.
Please note: Most of our products are IT components (such as memory modules and solid-state drives). Due to their electrostatic sensitivity, used or opened items cannot be returned unless faulty.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to approved returns, depending on the product’s model and series. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and quality control costs. If applicable, the restocking fee will be communicated before the return is authorized.
How to Initiate a Return
You may initiate a return by either:
Submitting a return request via your customer account on our website, or
Contacting us directly at sales@aochips.com.au.
All return requests are subject to review and approval by Aochips. We reserve the right to reject any return based on the condition of the product, its packaging, or other relevant factors.
If your return is approved, we will provide:
A return shipping label, and
Instructions on how and where to send the item.
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded.
Shipping Costs for Returns
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return:
If the item is damaged or defective upon delivery, and you provide clear video evidence within 48 hours of receipt, Aochips will cover the return shipping cost and issue a replacement or refund.
If you request a return for reasons other than a fault in the product (for example, change of mind), you will be responsible for the return shipping cost upon approval.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us at sales@aochips.com.au within 48 hours of receiving the order.
To process your claim efficiently, we may require you to submit video or photographic evidence. Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Opened or used IT hardware (unless faulty)
Clearance or promotional items
Custom or special-order products
Exchanges
To exchange a product, the most efficient process is to:
Submit a return request and return the original product after approval.
Place a new order for the item you would like to receive.
We do not offer direct item-for-item exchanges.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, you may select one of the following options:
A refund to your original payment method (to be processed within 10 business days), or
A store credit, which will be automatically applied to your Aochips customer account within 3 business days.
Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash and does not expire. Once a refund method has been selected and processed, it cannot be changed.
If you have not received your refund or store credit within the applicable timeframe, please contact us at sales@aochips.com.au.
